Miracle Bars

These amazing nutrient packed protein bars with OM mushroom powder and clean plant based protein powder are heavenly and easy to meal prep for the week! They are both packed with adaptogens and bursting with nutrients. I add it in to my diet daily as part of my life in remission from cancer. And love finding new and inventive ways to add it in to my recipes as a private chef and nutrition coach. These bars are also rich in anti-oxidants and omegas. Making them pure magic for not only your immune system but also cognitive brain function and gut health along with boosting your energy for the day. Whilst also making sure you hit your daily protein goals to keep your blood sugar balanced. They are sweet from the dates and sour from the tart cherries, I love the clean chocolate drizzled on top with a sprinkle of sea salt. And they are the perfect homemade protein bar to meal prep for the week and keep in the fridge for an afternoon snack or breakfast on the go!

Recipe bellow:


1 9oz bag organic medjool dates

2/3 cup cashews

2/3 cup pistachios

3 tbsp chia seeds

1/2 cup dried tart cherries

2 scoops @ommushrooms protein powder

2 tbsp @ommushrooms master blend powder

2 tbsp cacao powder

1/4 cup maple syrup

2 tbsp water

1 cup clean chocolate chips (melted)

1 tbsp coconut oil (to melt chocolate)

Flakey sea salt to sprinkle


Blend the ingredients together in a food processor. I blend the nuts and powder and seeds first. Then add in the dates. Then maple syrup and water. Press in to a brownie pan. Then drizzle over the melted chocolate and sprinkle with sea salt. Pop them in the fridge until you are ready to cut them and keep them in a Tupperware for the week!
